Thank you for your response. I did mention my OS(s) in my original report, but
perhaps I put it in the wrong section (I put it in the OBSERVED RESULT
section). I tried it on two different machines: one is a desktop running
Manjaro linux and the other is a laptop running Garuda linux. These are both
Arch derivatives.  I tried using the same "print to PDF" option in the KDE
application Kate and had no similar problems.  From Kate, the PDF file was
clear (including fonts of various colors).  You mention that you think the
fonts in the Kmymoney report are light colored and thus unreadable.  I think it
may have something to do with the colored backgrounds in the section where the
fonts are unreadable. You will note in the file I attached that the fonts are
very clear in the sections of the report where there is no colored background.
