Are you sure you are not filtering the ledger to only show "Not reconciled"
transactions?  (Not likely based on the post) but worth re-checking.  Also, be
sure you are not in the process of a reconciliation.  Finally, check the menu
View to see if "Hide reconciled transactions" is checked.
