The problem with this is that the size of the generated image depends directly
on the size of the associated widget, so if you have a small app window, for
example, the image will be of poor quality. Subsequently enlarging the app
window does not update the graph. Additionally, the problem is reproducible
with a maximized application window when the application window size was
previously small.

All the above cases can be reproduced with msvc and linux builds.
