I doubt very much that KMM is multiplying instead of dividing.  It is more
likely that the exchange rate has been set incorrectly, to the inverse of the
correct rate..  Do you know where your exchange rate came from?  Did you
download it or enter it manually?  If you open the price editor and find the
price pair for those two currencies, what does it show?
