A solution found by downgrading gnutls to version 3.7.4-2, so KMyMoney can be
used. The resultant 'update Manjaro' message and action has to be ignored to
avoid upgrading gnutls.
This solution was reported in the Manjaro Forum - apologies for possibly
wasting your time.
