This will automatically get closed soon as worksforme, and I think that's OK,
since changing account type works.

Changing account type does not change the position of the account in the 
hierarchy, and it should not, in case the user explicitly placed it.  The
original location under savings (in this example) was do to the initial account
type, but since you might have changed the position to suit your own needs, the
program will not change it for you.  For example, I have all my accounts
(savings, checking, credit card, for example) from a single bank grouped
together under a node in the hierarchy for that bank.
