KMyMoney -> Preferences -> General -> Filter -> Do Not Show Closed Accounts
solved my problem, woot woot!!! Thanks gents! Intuitively, since I had gone to
Accounts -> selecting account to close -> right click -> Close Account, I was
looking for an option in that same right click set of options, but it wasn't
there!
