I found two investment accounts A000353 and A000384.  The first had two
equities, A000354 and A000355, A000354 could easily be closed on the Equities
tab of the Investment View (selected after displaying A000353 in the ledger.)
A000384 had no transactions and could easily be closed without doing anything
else.

Let us know what happens when you try using the recent appimage.
