SUMMARY
>From another bug ID, it seems nested tags have been implemented, but within the
software the only option I see under tags window are New, Rename and Delete
Tags, without any option to display/configure hierarchy, as allowing nested
tags really bring out the true value of tagging through various hierarchy views
of your existing financial data.
First question, are nested tags implemented and supported in KMyMoney on
windows platform?
Second, it would really be useful to display totals/sub-totals for such 'Tag
Hierarchy' views on a single page, without having to create separate reports
based on the tags. Since each transaction can have multiple tags, there might
be duplication of reporting in the display under tags hierarchy views, but
that's OK since the users can organize and view the same data from different
'lenses' as they wish, the primary objective of the tags.
