Brendan - I don't see any opening balance amounts in either account in the
attached kmy file.  I don't even see an opening balance account, so I don't
know how you think the opening balance plays any role here at all.  If the
version of KMM I just compiled with gcc-10, I see what you show in the F31
picture.
