            Bug ID: 424225
Summary: Inconsistent behavior of "Hide Split transactions
                    details" Box in transaction reports

SUMMARY

Report balances ignore split transactions when using the "Hide split
transactions details" checkbox. Affected reports: transactions by payee and
transactions by tag.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create one split transaction for two different income categories
2. Create a default transaction by payee/tag report
3. Toggle "Hide split transactions details" checkbox

EXPECTED RESULT

First of all, the transaction reports can be split into two groups:

Group 1: Display type "Details" (Accounts, Top Accounts, Month, Week)
Group 2: Display type "separate transaction" (Category, Tag, Payee)

The "Hide split transactions details" checkbox behaviour works as expected for
group 1, where actual details are displayed.

For group 2, there is no consistent behaviour present.
Reports by category are not affected by toggling the checkbox, which should be
expected where no details displayed is the default view.

OBSERVED RESULT

Reports by payee or tag however treat split transactions as non existent when
toggling the checkbox. The expected behaviour is the one from transations by
category.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
