            Bug ID: 405147
Summary: qif generated by quicken 2019 does not create "tags"
table and "budget" table on import.
           Product: kmymoney
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: importer
          Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: mcwestfahl at comcast.net
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 118605
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118605&action=edit
section of the qif file defining and populating the "tags" table. Section of
gif populating the budget.

SUMMARY
qif generated by quicken 2019 does not create "tags" table and "budget" table
on import.

Multiple accounts and categories are created with "/tag" appended to the
account and category names. Most transactions are not matched as a result.

This may be because there is no tag table to validate parsed tags so they
default to a new account or category name.

The budget table is not created even though there is budget data in the gif.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.generate qif with quicken 2019 for transaction beginning 01/01/2017.

2. Delete current KMyMoney files, Set up new KMyMoney file

3.Import qif.

OBSERVED RESULT

No tags table.

No budget table.

extraneous accounts and categories formed with correct name and a /tag
appended.

EXPECTED RESULT

Creation of a Tag and budget table to match those in quicken.

Accounts and categories match those in quicken.

Matching process matches all transactions.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Pop_OS 18.04 LTS (ubuntu 18.04 LTS)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I attempted to attach a piece of the qif that created and populated the tags
table and a piece that populated the budget table. I can't see the tag.qif on
the web interface.

Since quicken 2019 if relatively new, this may be a bug in their qif.
