I like that version, but how about

   Show balance status on the Homepage for accounts where data imports 
from the institution include balance information.

I might even drop "from the institution" to be shorter.  I assume 
institutions are consistent about providing that information or not, but 
I can certainly believe there are some institutions that only provide 
balance information in some cases (such as files but not direct connect, 
or the other way around.)  Just call me paranoid about how institutions 
are capable of messing up OFX....
