Install the xfce pattern, you can do that in YaST->Software Management,
View->Patterns, or run "sudo zypper in -t pattern xfce".

To avoid having to reinstall from scratch, you can also just install the XFCE
pattern on an existing installation.

You can do that in YaST->Software Management, View->Patterns, or run "sudo
zypper in -t pattern xfce".
