Query on adjusting column widths

The date format in QIF is not used in the ledger view, instead 
Settings->KDE speech settings-Date&Time->Short Format is used.At
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396405 a similar bug has been
reported and fixed, To get an idea if your problem is another variant of
this bug, the currently used short Format value would be for interest.
