I am ok with using the terminal.  My problem is knowing which 
dependencies to install.  I use Synaptic normally to install & remove 
packages.

If you can supply the sudo command lines I can install them in the 
terminal.  Problem I ran into is there are only tarballs available and 
that is when I run into problems.
