I can reproduce the issue with the recent version 4.8.2. It happens on a click
on the hierachy tab. On stderr the following messages are printed 
QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapFromSource 
QSortFilterProxyModel: index from wrong model passed to mapFromSource
