How can I help?

Thomas,

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I don't have a MS Windows or
Mac OSX computer, I only have my linux computer. I don't know if I can
be of much use for porting to an OS I don't have.

One thing that has been bothering me is the difficulty of doing online
stock quote updates. I understand that since Yahoo shut down its
service finding online stock quotes has been a moving target. In this
forum thread: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=142713&start=15#p396187
there are instructions to create a new source that is working for me.
Additionally I know the Robinhood app has an undocumented API that
returns JSON. I'm not sure what the etiquette is on the Robinhood API.
Is there any interest in chasing these or other quote sources and
providing them as built in sources? It might be a good beginner
project.

Thanks,
Joshua

Throw your patches against phabricator (https://phabricator.kde.org/project/view/167/) and we (the devs with enough background) will take a look at them and provide advise.

Depending on your preferences this might be another area where we could use help. Lukasz may have some more information on this one.
