I saw an indication to the problem which matches the above mentioned commit on https://build.kde.org/job/Extragear%20kmymoney%20kf5-qt5%20FreeBSDQt5.10/72/consoleFull :

06:34:14 FAIL!  : MyMoneyMoneyTest::testZeroDenominator() Expected exception of type MyMoneyException to be thrown but std::exception caught with message: Denominator 0 not allowed! /usr/home/jenkins/workspace/Extragear kmymoney kf5-qt5 FreeBSDQt5.10/kmymoney/mymoney/mymoneymoney.cpp:170

So the exception generated is not of type MyMoneyException but of type std::exception.
