            Bug ID: 402360
Summary: Opposite Signs Option for OFX Importer
           Product: kmymoney
           Version: git (master)
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: importer
          Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: Brendan at CoupeWare.com
  Target Milestone: ---

One of my banks provides ofx/qfx files for 2 different savings accounts. In one
the interest has the correct sign and it is added to the deposit column as
expected.

In the other account (which is for a CD) the interest is negative and is added
to the payment column. I have asked the bank to correct this but they can't
seem to grasp what the problem is.

Yesterday I read about a bug: [kmymoney] [Bug 402195] CSV importer: Opposite
signs option not read from banking profile

I don't use the csv importer anymore so I'm not familiar with this option. I
assume it allows you to reverse the sign of all numbers in a given field.

It would be great if something like this could be implemented with the OFX
importer. I could fix this issue if I had an option to reverse the sign of
numbers that meet certain criteria. My bank does not provide online connect
access so for these accounts so this would be required in the manual download
popup window. I could also see a case where you need set this in the Online
Settings tabs for some accounts.
