As far as I can tell, it is not possible to adjust any column widths in any of
the table like displays.  That is not restricted to Windows.  If the widths are
inadequate to show the content, it is probably due to a font related issue,
rather than Windows specific.  The intent is definitely that all the content be
visible.  One possibility is that the system is returning incorrect font
metrics, but I'm not sure how to check for that.  

Perhaps there should be a separate wish-list to request that columns widths be
adjustable, but it is definitely a bug if the content cannot be fully seen with
the program determined widths.
