Building on Windows

Hi everyone,

did anyone recently build on Windows (preferrably with Visual Studio) and
could provide some insight on how to approach that? Or, alternatively, is
there any documentation on that? I'm struggling with getting all the
dependencies (and the dependencies oft the dependencies....) to build with
Visual Studio. Is there any way to geht prebuilt win binaries for the
dependencies?
