Looks to be fixed with the recent 4.8.1 snapshot for Windows. 

The snapshots could be downloaded from
https://software.opensuse.org/package/mingw64-kmymoney-portable and unpackaged
for example with 7zip. On that page open the tree and click on noarch.

If the problem persists feel free to reopen this bug.
