I don't understand your comment about the homepage.  Yes, we could be a lot
more verbose about plans and work, but we'd rather put that time into the work
itself.  I will see about getting some statement that a Frameworks version is
planned.  Remember, everyone on the team is a volunteer.

There is no release because it is not ready.  Not all functionality has been
fully ported to Frameworks.  As soon as that is done, there will be a release.

I don't understand your third question.  Version 5 will do almost the same as
4.8, that upgrade will be mainly about supporting Frameworks, not adding
functionality.
