Workaround:

I use "yahoo currency" to retrieve the quotes.

Changing the default URL in "configure -> kmymoney -> online quotes -> yahoo
currency" from "http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=%1%2=X&f=sl1d1" to
"http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=%1CAD=X&f=sl1d1" fixed the Canadian
dollar issue.

I imagine for the south korean won that
"http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=%1KRW=X&f=sl1d1" would do the trick as
well.
