That sounds very much like the same problem reported several times for the CSV
importer.  It's fixed in the next stable release.  There's no date for that as
yet
as it depends on porting KMyMoney to KDE Frameworks 5 which is a biggish job.
What I've done is to import into a checking account, select all those
transactions and transfer them to their intended account.
