FYI: I also have this problem with some .qif files, but not others.  KMyMoney
4.7.2 (and earlier) on Windows 8.1 locks upon importing.

Locks up after the "QIF Import" dialogue, but before the Account Selection
dialogue.

The QIF file is very short, contains no sensitive financials, and is inlined
below:
