Sorry Mike, I did not mean to hi-jack your issue.

I do note that check number does not seem to be part of the matching algorithm.
 Since many checks are hand-written the bank (at least Wells-Fargo) will
populate the Name field with "CHECK".  So, I don't see how a match can ever
happen.  Should I submit an enhancement to include check number in the matching
algorithm?  Maybe as the primary matching criterion.
