Hi Jennifer
There is actually a script in the KMyMoney/contrib folder which will
convert from PDF to QIF for importing. However, it requires some
knowledge of regex to setup to match your fields. I did get it working
for me, but it was not simple, and instead I resorted to copying the
data from the bank site and pasting it into a text editor, to format it
as CSV. Fortunately, I only needed to use it infrequently.
If you don't have access to the KMM source, I could send you the two
scripts, if you want to investigate.
So far as the XML option is concerned, perhaps you could post a specimen
file, obviously with personal stuff changed, as long as the format is
preserved.
With banks, sometimes the best option is to vote with your feet and move
to a bank that's in the real world.
