I don't see potential dangers. Moving from one computer to another implies for 
me that the version is the same. Otherwise, the same instructions apply as if 
you upgrade the version of KMyMoney (mostly there is none if it comes to the 
rc file).

The only reason I could think of NOT to move the file is if I want to start 
every setting from scratch. The file contains the settings that are not 
associated with the data in the file (e.g. screen estate, options, last files 
used, Online Quote Sources, Plugins, etc.). Only in case would want to drop 
all that it makes sense to NOT move the file.
