OK. That sounds like a good thing to do.

I very rarely (if ever) do a window resize so I was only really aware of 
the problem from what I have read here. I agree with what you wrote above 
except that to make it clear, the interest category is needed, the interest 
amount is not. It can be calculated.

I agree for a dividend payment. For a reinvest, you are right about no 
money being transferred but the interest field (not the amount) is still 
required to record a category for the dividend payment.

Yes, I enter the number of shares purchased and the total paid for those 
shares and the fee category and amount. I also have to enter a category in 
the interest field (not the interest amount). Note that I enter total paid 
not price per share. I let KMyMoney work out the price per share, that way 
the number of shares and amount reinvested always matches exactly the state 
of the real account. There are no rounding errors.
