Yes Single click is a Windows7 setting that I have used for years, & it works
just fine on my pc with all other apps. It’s specifically only the new Handbook
for which I observed that I had to double-click everything. 



OK now I see what you mean with the “What’s This”, but its functionality is not
quite what I expected from its name, not least because there’s many areas that
it doesn’t work.

1. Single click vs. double click to activate is a system setting - I don't know
where this can be set
2. What's this only works when there is information to display like in the
settings dialog for some options - try the ledger entry options (Use the ledger
lens)
