Firstly, thank you for your kind words.

About your item 1), I think there have been previous similar requests.
So that it doesn't get forgotten, with developer time being in short
supply, could you log it on https://bugs.kde.org/, with Severity as
Wishlist.

2) For those payees, what transaction matching option have you set?
Have you tried 'Match on Payee name'?  If that doesn't help, could you
expand your description to ensure it is fully understood.

3) I set up an asset account and successfully transferred
multiple - well two - transactions from a checking account, and also one
from a credit-card account.  It might be worth trying that.  There are
certain restrictions on what types of transaction may be
multiple-selected, but in general editing and moving is allowed.
