Investment accounts are  particularly tricky, since the investment account
itself holds transactions that  increase or decrease the number of shares,
while the associated brokerage account holds transactions that involve  money. 
Those transactions (buy/sell/dividend) can only be created in the investment
account, but create an appropriate entry in the brokerage account.
