            Bug ID: 310438
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: git master
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
Summary: CSV Plugin - Wishlist: Ability to enter symbols during
                    import
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: agander93 at gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: NEW
         Component: general
           Product: kmymoney4

If an investment file is being imported which does not have ticker symbols
against every security, those entries will not be accepted by KMyMoney. It is
necessary for the user to edit the file before import to add symbols where they
are missing.
At the moment, the plugin allows security names to be edited, to ensure they
match those that are already on file.
It would be sensible and beneficial to extend this, to allow the user also to
add/edit ticker symbols. Also, sometimes broker files may have transactions to
add, say, interest or fees which are associated with the broker's account
rather than with a real security. The use of an invented ticker symbol would
allow these to be captured as well.

Reproducible: Always
