Thank you for your detailed explanation. I agree, that KMyMoney has some room
for improvement on the multi-currency side (which also covers the securities
with varying prices). We already have a wishlist item at
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=231192 on file which points to an
interesting article.

Looking at your experience in the accounting field, can you confirm that the
proposed solution at
http://www.mathstat.dal.ca/~selinger/accounting/tutorial.html would solve the
problem you describe?
