            Bug ID: 295961
          Severity: normal
           Version: 4.5.3
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
Summary: import qif ofx select default categories
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: kdebugs at saltyshells.com
          Hardware: Mandriva RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kmymoney4

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.11 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/17.0.963.65 Safari/535.11
Build Identifier:

when importing either *.qif or *.ofx files,
A popup appears (see attached), asking the user to:
"Please select a default category for payee" for payees that kmymoney2 cannot
match to existing payees

However there is no text widget provided for the user to view the imported
transaction in question to make that decision. All one can do is guess. Which
only means that we will have to chase the transaction down later.

It will do this for EVERY transaction it cannot match. So if we are going to
have or want to chase them down later, would a check box "for all transactions"
be appropriate here?
[this is not a preferred thing to me, but would be a cheap fix in the short
term for the larger issue]

<feature request>
Additionally, this would be a great place to create filters for the same.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.import qif or ofx file
2.there needs to be payees that do not match. should be easy if you use a debit
card
3.you'll see, cant miss it
Actual Results:
see description

Expected Results:
I would expect to see the what the payee string for the imported transaction
(so I could determine the category without guessing)
