I think that exists already, unless I'm missing something.

If you enter Payees view and select a payee, then the Matching tab, if you then
select Match on a name listed below, then enter SOMECOMPANY into the box, then
update, I think that will give you what you want.

You may even be able to use regex there, too, but I'm not sure about that.
