Well the best info you could provide would be if you could upgrade KMyMoney to
the latest stable version (4.6.2) and try to reproduce this bug with it. As you
can see other users report it as fixed and your version is pretty old (4.5.3 is
a year old version). I really mean when I say that a *lot* of bugs were fixed
between 4.5.3 and 4.6.2 - you can check out the release notes for that

I don't know why distributions are reluctant to package the never version since
as far as I can remember we only worked on improving stability and usability
during the last 3 years since the port to KDE4 started.
