Summary: Support for Accounts in Budgeting
           Product: kmymoney4
           Version: 4.5.3
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: schlatter at phys.ethz.ch

Version: 4.5.3 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

I would like to see support for accounts in Budgets (in addition to income and
expenses). This would enable forecasting category *and* account balances based
on budget. Additionally, account budgeting is interesting for several reasons:

- Accounts can differ strongly in liquidity: The account "Pension fund", e.g.,
can be pretty similar to an expense category from a budgeting point of view.
- Accounts differ in interest rates: One may want to budget transactions for
optimum interest
- Tax reasons: Transfers to some accounts may be tax deductible in some
countries (e.g., "Pension Fund")
- ...

This feature could - for example - be implemented as follows:
In addition to the already present "Income" and "Expense" categories, there
would be also a list of all accounts. Similar to income and expense, the user
would set the total change (positive or negative) for each account.
Of course, this adds a constraint: The sum over all posts in the budget needs
to be zero (sum(income) - sum(expense) - sum(accounts) = 0). This could be
handled, e.g., by automatically assigning the imbalance (if any) to a special
category (such as "imbalance" or "uncategorized").

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
