strace on process yields thousands of repeated clock_gettime(CLOCK_MONOTONIC...
calls.  same behavior occurs from ledger when right clicking a transaction and
then choosing go to payee.  other all activity performed within the application
is very responsive and does not cause this hanging behavior.
i performed a consistency check and the OK dialog returned almost
instantaneously.
