[Kmymoney-devel] Odd behavior with new transaction

Good afternoon,

This is a low priority, and can easily wait until after the upcoming  
release, but I wanted to get it recorded before I forgot.

If I create a new transaction (checking account) if I start typing the  
payee and pick it off the list, when I hit tab, it also fills in the  
default category.  If I then complete entering the transaction, and  
immediately create another new transaction, I get a transaction with  
the same payee, but when I tab from payee to category field, it does  
not select the default category.

I would expect it would still use the default category, I shouldn't  
have to select it.  Does this count as a bug, or is it intentional?

Also, if I duplicate a transaction, it uses today's date, which makes  
sense, but it uses the same check number as the original transaction,  
instead of either leaving it blank or using the next available number.   
I assume this is as designed, but I'd like to question whether it is  
really the right behavior.
