Summary: Kmymoney freezes when I try to import a QIF file
           Product: kmymoney4
           Version: 4.5.2
          Platform: MS Windows
        OS/Version: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: fossie.ferreira at gmail.com

Version: 4.5.2 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: MS Windows

One of my banks give me OFX and QIF files that I can use in Kmymoney but the
other gives me only QIF files. OFX files import fine but QIF doesn't. The
importer opens, you select the file and when you click import, the application
goes grey and stops working. I have to kill it in the task manager. I used this
tool many times on my Ubuntu machine no problem. During installation I noticed
that one file "libopen" something or the other failed it's checksum thingey. I
re-installed and also tried to install a previous version of KDE but it didn't
work. Perhaps there is a relation?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1 Click file >> Import >> QIF
2 Browse to select the file
3 default QIF profile and QIF source = "bank statement"
4 click import

Actual Results:
All the menu items and icons in the side pane go grey-ish and the application
stops responding completely

Expected Results:
a message saying "import completed" or some such

OS: WindowsNT (i686) release Windows 7 (Ultimate)
Compiler: cl.exe

About the attachment: It's a real QIF file that fails to import in my
installation. I just deleted some of the description data in notepad so that
it's gibberish but the file is intact otherwise.
