Hello Marko,
LibAlkimia is a separate project, and it will be a required dependency
of KMyMoney.
We are and will be in touch with packagers to make the package
available in most distros.
So far, it's a fairly simple project, so you should have no problem
making it build in OS X. It will get complicated over time, but that
will happen over time, gradually.
