$ ruby -v
ruby 1.8.7 (2011-02-18 patchlevel 334) [x86_64-linux]

Using the patch I'm getting this error:

./create_tarball.rb:292: private method `split' called for ["kmymoney"]:Array 
(NoMethodError)

        from ./create_tarball.rb:142
