The problem seems to be when selecting a payee and then pressing any letter.
The popup glimpses for a second (which calls a focusOutEvent), then vanishes.
Weirdly, it doesn't happen if selecting a payee and pasting the value, only
when there is a key press involved.

The reason of the QFocusEvent is too general to be of any use in this case.
