the test file I had the problem with 

Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5) 
OS:                Linux

I have setup a new file, with one account and a couple of transactions. 

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
Open KMyMoney
Click on ledgers

Actual Results:  
Crash

Expected Results:  
Show ledger
