If the string freeze is OK with Jack then I see no further
difficulties in declaring the string freeze beginning with Monday July
the 26th. During that period we can fix all the bugs that we have and
improve other stuff like the build system, etc.

I don't know if you already mentioned in the handbook this feature

After it was implemented I didn't heard anything about it so maybe it
just needs some publicity :). I've sent a mail to this list a while
ago where I've said a few things about this feature. Thanks!
