In the course of reconciling our monthly bank statements earlier this 
week, I deleted several duplicate categories, after which MyMoney 
crashed but left my database
in good working order.

LIke you, I could not reproduce the problem this evening when deleting a 
couple of other duplicated categories.  Everything worked correctly this 

I suggest we mark this one as "could not reproduce the problem", and 
move on with life. Sorry about the bogus bug report.

Thanks your your part in developing this first rate software. Please 
pass along my compliments to the rest of the team.
