Having thought about this, I think I have a different idea. What if we
restrict the legend to a maximum number?

Say, if we have over 10 legends, then we don't show it at all. It's
useless anyway after a certain number, and the tooltips provide better
feedback.

We could add a setting, so the user can change it if willing to see
all legends regardless of the quantity of legends.
